Steelhead Ranch Announces a Partnership with Double Dutch Suri Farm

Located on the WA side of the Columbia River just 20 minutes from Hood River, OR Steelhead Ranch sits on the banks of the White Salmon river. Matt and Micki Colloton started their herd with 6 suri’s and 1 hucaya gelding in the Seattle area in 2007. The herd had grown to 9 when they made the move to the newly built log house in White Salmon, WA. We completed the first barn and several pasture areas were beginning to grow grass. Once we got through a very mild winter we were happily awaiting the first cria to be born at our house, we had 4 due from May through Sept. As Steelhead Ranch grew Double Dutch was ready to downsize. Dave and Sylvia Degroot of Double Dutch alpacas had sold their farm in Hood River, OR and it was time to move all of the amazing Suri’s. A partnership with Steelhead Ranch and Double Dutch was formed. Steelhead Ranch is now home to many of the coveted DDF genetics. Steelhead Ranch is brokering the sale of the DDF suri’s as well as offering breedings to many of the DDF herdsires, Double Dutch Accoyo Del Sol, Ameripaca’s Doppler are of course at the top of the list.
